Please read these terms carefully before booking an appointment or placing an order through the online shop.
1. General
Shiatsu Shane provides professional massage and wellbeing services in the United Kingdom. By booking an appointment, using this website, or placing an online order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. Nature of Services
Massage therapy is provided for relaxation and wellbeing purposes only. Services are not a substitute for medical treatment or diagnosis. Clients should consult a medical professional where appropriate.
3. Client Responsibility
Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or other health concerns prior to treatment. Shiatsu Shane reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if it is deemed unsafe.
4. Bookings, online shop, and payments
Appointments are booked through our secure online scheduling system. Payment may be taken at the time of booking or at the appointment, depending on the selected service. Online shop purchases are powered by Shopify. Product pricing, checkout, payment authorisation, taxes, and inventory are handled through Shopify's systems. An order is only accepted once checkout is completed and confirmation has been issued.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Clients are asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged at the full session rate. Discretion may be applied in exceptional circumstances.
6. Online orders, delivery, and customer responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing, contact, and delivery information during checkout. Delivery estimates, shipping options, stock status, and fulfilment updates are provided through Shopify and the store's configured delivery settings. Shiatsu Shane reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order where pricing, stock, fraud, or fulfilment issues arise.
7. Returns and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law. Where products are sold through the online shop, any return, refund, replacement, or cancellation rights that apply will be handled in line with applicable law and the store's published policies at the time of purchase.
8. Late Arrival
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid impacting subsequent appointments. The full session fee may still apply.
9. Third-party platforms
Parts of this website rely on third-party platforms including Acuity Scheduling for appointments and Shopify for ecommerce. Their separate terms, privacy notices, and checkout processes may apply when you use those services.
10. Liability
Shiatsu Shane will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
